A National Summit on Religion and Education

The National Summit on Religion and Education gathered an inter- and multi-disciplinary group of leaders in education, religious studies, social studies and English language arts in September 2019 to discuss religious studies education in the U.S. Participants included teachers, school and district administrators, professional development and curricular resource providers, religious and civic advocacy organizations, scholars, publishers and philanthropists. They identified action items to improve religious studies education in the United States.
