Election Night 2024 Through the Lens: Press Capture Historic Event

The First Amendment defines five fundamental freedoms – religion, speech, press, assembly and petition – protected from government interference. On Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, as Donald Trump was elected the 47th president of the United States, the power of the press was on full display — from newsrooms to watch parties and everywhere in between.
