The Free Expression Awards is an annual event that honors the achievements of First Amendment heroes for their courageous acts of free expression.
This year, we honor:
- A legendary lawyer for press freedom and free speech who has won some of the most significant First Amendment cases of modern times.
- A student-run newspaper providing groundbreaking reporting to the University of Florida and its surrounding community since 1906.
